Keep the source in the story

A compelling view is the start. A decision needs a traceable record.

  1. OriginWho collected the source, where, when, and under what conditions?
  2. ProcessingWhat changed between the original capture and this reconstruction?
  3. ReviewWhat was checked, by whom, and what limitations remain?
What these examples establish

These examples show captured spatial content. Accuracy, completeness and suitability for the intended use need their own review.

Agree on source preservation, permissions, version identity and human review for the proposed use. Visual detail and measurement accuracy are different things.

People & sources

This selection uses existing Aperio portfolio examples, including capture contributions from Michael Rubloff. It does not assign every capture to one creator.

Aperio’s announcement identifies Michael as Global Lead, Spatial Computing & Visualization, in a non-exclusive strategic role. He also founded RadianceFields.com.

The WWT link is its general ATC overview; a dedicated Reality Engine destination is forthcoming. Named venues identify the places shown, not customer endorsements.

Confirm individual capture credits, collection dates, methods, permissions, and suitability with Aperio before reuse. Original publication links are available under each example’s source details.

Define what Aperio delivers

Agree on capture, reconstruction, software access, integration, training and support as relevant. The demonstration viewers here are examples, not a deployment architecture.

Agree on rights and responsibilities

Define permitted use of original captures, reconstructions and annotations. Confirm user access, content permissions, export, retention and continuing responsibilities.

Connect the scope to a decision

Agree on the owner, baseline, success measure, delivery effort and review point. Confirm commercial terms and the appropriate purchase route for the agreed scope.
